I was first introduced to treenets in 2007 by my cousin Peter. While attending UC Santa Cruz, Peter and his friends spent the majority of their spare time weaving nets hundreds of feet up in the California redwoods. I immediately fell in love with these hidden hangouts, which fueled my desire to begin weaving nets of my own, in the beautiful state of Colorado.

I enjoy building treenets for many reasons, but primarily I value the seclusion and solitude of being among the trees. The nets create a calming space, which allows me to step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Climbing the trees help to foster my appreciation for the small things and all that our natural environment has to offer.
